Software Engineer (f|m|x) – JAVA & AWS

Join our White Labels team and help build the technology behind eight independent price comparison websites across Europe, reaching over 35 million users annually. Our mission: provide high-quality traffic and an innovative alternative to idealo across diverse international markets.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll work on robust backend systems in a stable product environment, shaping scalable services and contributing to impactful customer experiences. 

The position is available in full -or part-time.

About your new role 

• Develop and maintain backend services with a focus on Java and Spring Boot.

• Work with modern technologies like MongoDB, AWS, Open AI API to build scalable applications.

• You will be responsible for building and running the application (CI/CD).

• Collaborate with product and tech teams to support eight international platforms.  

• Contribute to improving system performance, security, and maintainability.  

• Work on an established, long-term product.

• Evolve our mature front-end (CSS).

• Get involved in automation with Terraform.

Skills & Requirements 

• Experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot.

• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases. 

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS. 

• Strong team player mindset, ready to contribute to a mature application landscape. 

• Interest in CSS, Terraform, and automation pipelines. 

• Curiosity for AI technologies and how they can be applied in eCommerce.
