It integrates and synchronizes their inventory, ensuring quality and correctness, and brings the entire inventory into one comparable catalog, providing it in a homogeneous, easily accessible structure.

The B2C User Interaction Domain in idealo’s Product & Technology department combines all customer touchpoints within a single domain, facilitating effective communication and a comprehensive understanding of user needs. It enables seamless collaboration to address user journeys across platforms and solve shared user problems. It promotes continuous product development through enhanced collaboration, clear purpose per Product Area, reduced cognitive load and priority conflicts, as well as separation of consumer touchpoints from complex backend systems. 

The Domain Platform represents the core of idealo's platform strategy, offering a comprehensive range of self-service APIs, tools, services, knowledge, and support presented as compelling internal products. The purpose of this is to empower our delivery teams, enhance their autonomy, and accelerate the delivery of product features by reducing the need for extensive coordination efforts. Within the Domain Platform, a self-service data platform enables scalable insights generation, employing domain ownership principles to treat data as a valuable multiplier. This platform supports business intelligence, company planning, and expedites product development through analytics and experimentation capabilities. It also facilitates profitable growth through the marketing steering model.
