Working Student - Account Management & Customer Service (m|w|d)

When merchants receive fast support, quality standards are maintained, and processes run smoothly, it contributes directly to a better shopping experience on idealo. That's where you come in.

At idealo, you'll work at the intersection of merchant support and customer service. You'll support our partners in their day-to-day business, handle operational requests, and gain insights into different areas of e-commerce.

About the Role

As a Working Student, you'll become part of a team that helps our long-tail merchants succeed on idealo while ensuring a reliable shopping experience for our customers every day.

You'll support the team in day-to-day operations, gain hands-on insights into modern account management, and contribute to improving processes and maintaining quality standards.

Your Responsibilities

• You handle operational requests from long-tail merchants and support them with a variety of day-to-day topics.

• You support the Account Management team with commercial activities, such as preparing account analyses and identifying optimization opportunities.

• You respond to customer inquiries related to the use of the idealo platform.

• You support the review of merchants to ensure compliance with our quality standards.

• You assess new and existing shops based on defined quality and trust criteria.

• You contribute to projects focused on process optimization and the continuous improvement of operational workflows.

Skills & Requirements

• You are currently enrolled at a university, ideally in a business-related field, or have a strong personal interest in commercial topics.

• You are interested in e-commerce, merchant support, and account management topics.

• You are fluent in German and feel confident communicating with merchants and customers in writing and over the phone.

• You work in a reliable, structured, and independent way.

• You take ownership and independently drive topics forward.

• You enjoy tackling challenges actively and solving them pragmatically.
