Team Lead Brand & Communications (m/w/d) - Italy

Take our brand presence in Italy to the next level!

As Team Lead Brand & Communications, you’ll be responsible for idealo’s brand strategy and communications in the Italian market. You’ll lead a dedicated team of Brand & Communication Managers who create and manage content for our social media channels and other key touchpoints of idealo.it. Together with your team, you’ll shape and evolve our brand presence – data-driven, creative, and customer-focused.

About your new role:

• Build, lead, support, and develop a new Brand & Communications team for idealo.it.

• Translate strategic goals into actionable tasks and steer your team’s daily work based on market analyses, KPIs, trends, and user needs.

• Foster a culture of trust and ownership, and lead by example.

• Apply your expertise in both digital marketing (social media, SEO, guerrilla, etc.) and traditional channels (TV, print, PR, OOH).

• Take ownership of brand and communication projects – from concept to execution.

• Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and present results and insights to senior stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and other international markets.

Skills & Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in brand, communications, or marketing.

• In-depth knowledge of the Italian e-commerce and retail market.

• Business-fluent English skills; Italian language skills are a plus.

• Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and a structured approach to work.

• Proven expertise in digital marketing – including social media, performance marketing, content strategy, and SEO.

• Solid understanding of traditional media.

• Confident in working with KPIs, brand messaging, and project management.

• Strong decision-making skills, assertiveness, and a collaborative mindset. You’re committed to both your own growth and the development of your team.

• You take responsibility and drive issues forward independently, pragmatically, and with a strong focus on implementation.
