Job description

idealo has direct business relationships with the entire e-commerce merchant market, from Amazon and eBay to small specialists. For our partner shops we are one of the most important sources of traffic, customer contacts and online sales. For our end customers, these merchants supply billions of current prices, which make up our comparison service. We are looking for you as Sales Manager France (m|f|x) to make our B2B product in the French market even more relevant!

This position is available full-time or part-time.

About your new role

  • You consistently create new cooperation through actively contacting prospects and building trustworthy relationships with online shops in France.
  • You manage the entire sales process (sourcing, negotiation, closing) and optimise it constantly, hitting the sales targets and inventory goals for idealo.fr.
  • You prioritise the acquisition of online shops following country strategic needs.
  • You are representing idealo towards potential clients in meetings, conferences and events in France and in Germany.
  • You collaborate with great colleagues in our international Sales and Account Management Team.

Skills & Requirements

  • You have at least 2 years of experience as a Sales Representative in the e-commerce or Performance Marketing sectors and you know how to approach online retailers in France.
  • You work in a structured, organised, repeatable way and know how to report on and improve your sales process.
  • You have a good understanding of the online marketing challenges and you understand the relevance of backing your claims with data when selling to prospects.
  • Your expertise enables you to communicate and negotiate with the right decision maker on the client's side.
  • You have previous experience in using a CRM tool such as Salesforce and with prospecting tools such as Sales navigator.
  • Excellent French and English skills round off your profile.

idealo allows you to work from wherever you are. As part of our Hybrid Work at idealo, you decide whether and how often you work from our office in Berlin or remotely because you live in another city within Germany or the café down the street makes the best coffee cream.
