As Product Lead for our B2B products, you will design and scale the systems that enable thousands of partners to list, manage, and optimize their business with idealo. You’ll own the product vision across critical value chains—covering partner onboarding and listing, budget and traffic optimization, billing and invoicing, as well as data validation and automation.
Your Mission:
Ensure our B2B products and platforms deliver value at scale—accurate, resilient, and partner-centric. You’ll lead the product development for backend-heavy, data-driven systems that underpin growth, efficiency, and trust. This includes safeguarding data quality, enabling automation, and leveraging AI-driven approaches to unlock new opportunities. You’ll collaborate across engineering, data, commercial, and finance to make our platforms more effective, scalable, and future-ready.

About the role
Own the vision, KPIs, and roadmap for core B2B platforms and partner-facing systems.
Lead the development of scalable, resilient infrastructure supporting multiple markets and business models.
Build solutions for automation, data validation, transparency, and AI-enhanced decision-making.
Collaborate with Engineering and Data to define workflows, integrations, and reporting standards that ensure system reliability and scalability.
Work closely with Sales, Account Management, and Finance to align product features with partner needs and business processes.
Drive cross-functional discovery and delivery processes, ensuring all stakeholders—partners, internal teams, and regulatory bodies—are reflected in the product.
Use experimentation, analytics, and creative problem-solving to iterate and scale robust B2B infrastructure across markets.
Skills & Requirements
Senior-level experience (typically 6–10 years) in product management, ideally in B2B contexts such as marketplaces, fintech, payments, or data platforms.
Proven track record of building backend-heavy, data-intensive products with measurable business or customer impact.
Strong technical understanding of platform systems, integrations, automation, and data workflows.
Experience in applying AI-driven solution approaches to create value and efficiency.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, particularly across Commercial, Finance, Account Management, and Engineering.
Creative thinker and doer with the ability to turn ideas into practical solutions.
Analytical mindset; comfortable engaging deeply with data, using SQL or equivalent tools to validate processes and outcomes.
Fluent in German and English.
