We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team responsible for the OfferList service, which represents idealo's most important customer-facing inventory. As the Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing our product offerings, including offer sorting, filtering, and applying marketplace rules.

About your new role
- Product Ownership: Take ownership of the OfferList, ensuring it meets the desired business impact and user experience goals. Understand and manage the complexity of the various filtering and sorting rules, ensuring they interact effectively to deliver the desired outcomes.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with 12+ teams at idealo to ensure smooth integration and coordination of interfaces with the team's products. Collaborate with front-end teams to ensure seamless utilization of the OfferList API and Price History API, which are critical components of our web and app platforms.
- Technical Systems Management: Oversee and manage several complex tech systems owned by the team, which require high non-functional requirements in terms of capacity, scalability, throughput, latency, reliability, and availability. Drive the team's ongoing AWS migration efforts and contribute to cost optimization initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with SEO teams and other critical dependencies to ensure seamless integration and alignment with their requirements. Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, understand their needs, and translate them into actionable product improvements.
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with complex tech systems, preferably experience with AWS and its cost optimization.
- Ability to navigate through complex business rules and optimize them to drive positive business impact and user experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
