Team Lead - Data Integration (f|m|x)

We are looking for a people-focused Team Lead for the Data Integration team that is responsible for enabling other product teams to create valuable internal data products.

This is a relatively new team and part of your challenge will be to solidify the team’s mission and refine the regular practices of this high-performance team. The person we are looking for is passionate about empowering people to be at their best, someone who wants to promote a culture of diversity and inclusion and create an agile environment of trust where autonomy and alignment are no contradiction.

We believe a multitude of experiences could be valid for this role (such as agile coaches, people leaders from other industries, product managers, etc.) Leadership experience can be built in many career paths, even if not formally recognized by the title. This position is available full-time or part-time.

About your new role

  • You care for and develop a team of 4-5 engineers.
  • You shape and empower your team's culture by leading by example, following core Agile values and principles, and creating a safe environment for open discussion, honest opinions, and personal growth.
  • Your main tasks are to build a high-performing team, grow and retain talents, e.g., by supporting your team members in their personal and professional development, providing coaching and feedback, and hiring.
  • You are a proactive member of the Data Platform department’s leadership team to shape the department’s future in terms of strategy and people/culture initiatives and practices.
  • You work closely with the team’s Product Manager while connecting it to the strategy of the Data Platform department and the company
  • You support your team in building and improving effective and efficient collaboration and communication structures within the company.
  • You develop a strong sense of ownership and accountability among your team members.


Skills & Requirements

  • You have a passion for developing people and teams and have proven experience in implementing these skills.
  • You are familiar with the Agile values and methods and can apply them or you have a strong will to learn them.
  • You can bring structure to complex situations and communicate and implement the measures you want to take clearly.
  • You can facilitate and support strategy development and goal setting on personal, team, and department level.
  • You give and receive open, honest, and appreciative feedback.
  • Technical background is welcome but not required.
  • Clear and transparent communication.
  • You are fluent in English.
