As Product Area "Product Discovery" we are responsible for the idealo home page, the search as well as the result pages and our wish list feature. Every day, we help millions of customers to find the right product with the help of filters, relevant product information and smart sorting.

As Product Owner in the product area "Product Discovery" you are responsible for the operation and further development of the category pages as well as the search result pages together with your development team.

About your new role

  • As a Product Owner in the Product Discovery area, you are responsible for the category pages and the search result pages at idealo.
  • Working with an interdisciplinary team (team lead, developers, UX designers, analysts), you help to support and inspire our customers on their "journey", providing product functions at the right time and place.
  • You develop a customer-centric roadmap, choosing the right tools and methods and you will be responsible for the feature implementation together with your team.
  • In technical leadership you contribute significantly to the continuous development of your team. Together with your Team Lead you will also ensure an excellent delivery speed in your area.

Job requirements

Skills & Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in product management in an agile environment, preferably in e-commerce. 
  • You are skilled in developing hypotheses, validating them through A/B testing and presenting results. 
  • You find solutions and ideas for occurring issues and are able to motivate others in order to create smart plans and make a difference together with your team. 
  • You are an excellent communicator with different stakeholders. This includes product owners, developers, managers and - of course - our customers. 
  • You have a good understanding of numbers, can derive user needs from large amounts of data, and you know how to check them using qualitative methods.
