As a dedicated Deputy Vice President, you will support the (Senior) Vice President in driving strategic initiatives in his area of expertise and oversee key projects. In this responsible position, you will have extensive room for manoeuvre and budget flexibility as well as the necessary skills to ensure alignment with the company's long-term goals.

About your new role

  • Strategic Leadership: Support the SVP People in driving strategic People initiatives, overseeing key projects, and ensuring alignment with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead People teams, manage day-to-day operations, and optimize People processes to enhance efficiency and deliver results. 
  • Act as a key advisor to leadership on People matters, including workforce planning, organizational design, and employee relations. 
  • Collaborate with Works Council in an effective manner, ensuring smooth negotiations, compliance with co-determination laws, and maintaining a collaborative relationship.
  • Drive change management initiatives related to restructuring, culture shifts, or organizational transformation, working closely with senior leadership and the works council to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Ensure legal compliance with labor laws and HR regulations and mitigate any potential HR-related risks.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Ability to design and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • HR Processes: Strong proficiency in developing and optimizing HR processes, e.g. performance management and employee lifecycle management to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Labor Law Knowledge: Deep understanding of employment law, labor relations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Change Management: Experience in leading organizational transformation, especially during periods of restructuring or cultural shifts.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to leverage HR analytics to drive decision-making on workforce trends, diversity, and performance.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
