Deputy VP Finance & Analytics (m|w|x)

As a dedicated Deputy Vice President, you will support the (Senior) Vice President in driving strategic initiatives in his area of expertise and oversee key projects. In this responsible position, you will have extensive room for manoeuvre and budget flexibility as well as the necessary skills to ensure alignment with the company's long-term goals.

About the Role

• Strategic Leadership: Support the SVP Finance in driving strategic initiatives, overseeing key projects with focus on analytical topics, and ensuring alignment with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
• Operational Excellence: Lead idealo’s Analytics teams, manage day-to-day operations, and optimize processes to improve efficiency and deliver actionable insights for business decisions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between leadership and the Analytics teams, fostering collaboration across departments and ensuring clear communication. Manage relationships with stakeholders, decide with them about priorities and keep them informed about progress and outcome.

Skills & Requirements

• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop, support, and execute high-level strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Leadership & Team Management: Proven experience in leading Analytics teams and mentoring mid-level managers to achieve performance goals.
• Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Project Management: Proficient in managing complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and resource allocation.
• Experience: 10+ years hand-on experience in Analytics and/or Controlling positions, with at least 6 years in leadership roles.
• Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of data modeling and data architecture, profound experience with data-intensive projects, and a very good knowledge of E-Commerce metrics and their interpretation.
• Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning.
