The team: Order Processing – Product Area After Sales

As Product Area After Sales, we are responsible for the part of the Customer Journey that deals with

order processing and customer communication. Our aim is to satisfy our customers and secure their

data. To strengthen the team, which is responsible for the order processing, we are looking for a Full Stack

Engineer (m|w|x) with decent Frontend skills.

About your new role

  • You design, build, run, monitor and maintain our e-commerce software landscape in an active and
    impactful way
  • You embrace healthy, state-of-the-art engineering practices through writing clean, well-tested and thoughtfully crafted code with the team
  • You approach your work proactively and have a sense for solving problems the smart and simple
    way (YAGNI)
  • You will develop trunk-based and continuously release our product
  • You will be working closely with our UX / UI Designer and Product Owner to develop a modern
    face for our web application
  • You love agile methodologies and techniques like Pair Programming as much as we do
  • You will take responsibility for the full development life cycle: from digging for requirements,
    coding and reviewing, to deploying and monitoring your code to the real world


Skills & Requirements

  • You have more than 4 years of professional hands-on experience in:
    • Microservice-oriented architectures
    • Thymeleaf, JavaScript, CSS, React as the main technologies for frontend applications
    • Event-Driven and REST for interaction between services
    • AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and more for infrastructure-relevant topics
  • You have experience in Java 8 & Spring Boot, Message-Driven Communication, SQL, noSQL
    databases like MongoDB as a backend technology
  • You show initiative in solving anything that might block us from deploying our product
  • You like to work in an agile, self-independent and delivery focused team
  • You thrive on the ability to solve technical and business challenges, while driving engineering best
  • You give and take open, constructive feedback - it is not always easy but that is the foundation of
    great teams
  • Experience in A/B Testing is a plus
  • You have excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal. A good understanding
    of the German language (at least B2) is required
