As a Product Owner (m|f|x) in full-time or part-time at idealo’s Mobile Apps Team, you drive the evolution of our award-winning e-commerce apps and their underlying backend services. We are a fully integrated and autonomous team that balances using proven technologies with cutting edge experimentation, delivering best in class user experiences and impact on idealo’s mission. We own our code and together with designers, analysts and engineers, you drive the direction of our products. This allows you to have a significant contribution to transforming business at idealo.

About your new role

  • At idealo you are part of a cross-functional team that strives for excellence in product and software development. You work closely with other product owners, user experience designers, data analysts, and an engineering team.
  • We work as an agile team where you will be driving product development from ideation to operating a product at scale. With proper prioritization, you enable a continuous flow of work and business value delivery.
  • You’re routinely working with business and technology stakeholders on various levels of the organization, structuring a wide variety of functional and non-functional requirements from marketing journeys to payment APIs.
  • You have a positive impact on our culture, encourage knowledge sharing and drive product discussions within the team.


Skills & Requirements

  • You have a deep understanding of either e-commerce or mobile apps ecosystems or related fields.
  • You are meticulous about data and up-to-date with product development, leading a development team, passionate about user satisfaction, operational health, and commercial success.
  • You communicate complex topics and priorities concisely and effectively in product, business, and engineering contexts.
  • You are an open, approachable team player, curious about solving interesting and sometimes complex problems.
  • As a Product Owner, you’re self-sufficient and well organized, and you can expect the same from the team around you.
