Head of International Product & Technology (m|f|x)
We're a close department of 20, that function as a start-up within idealo, working on our international portals and our data-driven product development. How we outwork this day to day, is through A/B testing, working on projects that involve AWS, micro-services, big data and much more, alongside other departments.

About your new role
As a Head of International Product & Technology, you take care of the interests and projects of our International department.
Therefore, you align with the relevant product & technology stakeholders from the certain product areas and ensure that our product roadmap merges with the orientation of the entire organization.
With your lead-by-example approach, you will lead, motivate and develop your team members both from the International Product & Technology and the White Label division.
You will report to the Domain Lead and closely align with the International Business Owners.
You independently initiate process optimizations and ensure the continuous development of the International department.
Skills & Requirements
You have a profound understanding of good practices in software engineering, like pair programming, testing, and clean code.
You have experience in the user-centred product development - ideally in the e-commerce sector.
You´re constantly aware of your product´s KPIs. You know the market and competition inside out, and will never leave your team´s best interest out of sight.
With your instinct for coaching and advising, you understand how to motivate and guide your team to work autonomously within an agile working environment.
You have a solid knowledge of common methods and frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Design Thinking, OKRs, change management.
You strike with good communication skills, both in English and German.
